Violin | Whiz Kid: Young Violinist Performs To Help Children Get Instruments

At Barrington Middle School Bat Mitzvah Violin Concerto fundraising Community Music Works , Dustin Reich gave a violin concert to benefit Temple Habonim on New Meadow Road, Barrington, last Sunday that his "good deed", a project for the production of Bat Mitzvah this spring.

The performance of the beneficiary of the Barrington Middle School seventh grader is the non-profit organization, Community Music Works. The non-profit music education and performance uses to build lasting and meaningful relationships between children, families, and professional musicians in the urban areas of Rhode Island, particularly to help children who can t 'afford to be a musical instrument."I chose them because being able to play music is a very important part of my life," Dustin said.Almost every seat was full of Dustin sat patiently waiting to start. At the time the concert began, more chairs had to be put into.

Dustin played 10 parts, beginning with a serenade of GB Viotti. His father, Andrew Reich, accompanied by his daughter on the violin on this piece with the next selection, German, JB de Boismortier.Dustin's aunt, Peggy Reich, accompanied by Dustin on piano selections to come: La Folia by A. Corelli, Meditation from Thais by J. Massenet, Czardas V. Monti, Cinema Paradiso Ennio Morricone. Andrew Reich and then stepped back beside his daughter with his Violin Concerto in D minor by Johann Sebastian Bach D.

The last three pieces were: slowly by Paul Hindemith, a Hungarian folk song and a waltz by Matyas Seiber Carl Maria von Weber.Dustin, a woman educated, talented and composed, is a violinist, playing since the age of four years. Last year, he served as first violinist of the Philharmonic Directory. He played in a number of points and is a member of the Youth Philharmonic Orchestra Symphony Orchestra.
