Sustainability | A New Kind Of BMW

BMW - German car manufacturer has announced a new premium sub-brand under its group. The "BMW" sub brand is launched to focus on developing sustainable solutions to mobility, such as how to address the development of BMW Motorbikes two wheeled mobility.

Initially two models will be launched in 2013 under the new brand, the BMW and BMW i3 i8. BMW has established a Venture Capital company in New York with an investment of approximately 100 million Us Dollars to help with a range of mobility services in the years ahead.

 I8 i3 and is based on the concept of building a revolutionary architecture called LifeDrive. The aluminum chassis houses the powertrain, and the passenger cell is composed of high-strength but lightweight plastic over their carbon-fiber reinforced (CFRP).

Robertson added, "BMW car provides visionary and services, designed to stimulate, and a completely new concept for premium mobility - all, with a focus on sustainability." The BMW brand side response and your customer needs are changing, including growing demand for drive trains, such as hybrid electric propulsion systems.
