Tons of rubbish...why?

Have you ever heard of the story about a tortoise had survived after nearly being buried under 50 tons of waste at a landfill site after his owner accidentally threw him out with the rubbish!This is a real story that happened in England. Poor Fred who is a 30 years old family pet!

How amazing that we can produced these much of rubbish ! How frequent do you need to do your trash? By reusing the resources and reduce to buy more thing during our daily life , I'm sure we will not prodeced so much rubbish that we can't due with in the later stage!
