The Green Year - 緑の年

Every time when you decide to start on doing something , maybe like doing exercise 15 minutes a day or read a book to your child every night or others.I am sure you will enjoy it very much at the very beginning because it is so appealing. But graduatly you will feel that it is a burden to you that you need to commit yourself into all these. What is the ending? We give up on what we had the most enthusiasm at the time we made our oath.

It same goes to becoming green on our life. Most of us want to do the right thing for the environment, but making the commitment to change our fast-paced, convenience-oriented lifestyles can be more than a little daunting. So what’s the answer? We should have take that giant commitment and cut it up into 365 little commitments that get met one day at a time. Maybe you can start to plan your Green Year.Make it simple, practical, affordable, and engaging activities that make going green a blessing rather than a burden in our daily life.

Let's go green one day at a time. You will be more happy about what you are doing.

I agree that we give up too easy, you have some good advice on going green. I like the tree counter since I love trees.
